Process

From first hello to final album.

We work with a small number of couples each year, slowly. Here is how the relationship unfolds, from inquiry through the prints on your wall.

  1. Inquire

Tell us your date, your venue if you have one, and what kind of day you are imagining. We reply within two business days with availability and a starter conversation.

  2. Discovery call

A 30-minute video call. We talk about how the day will move, who matters most to you in frame, and whether our work and your day are right for each other.

  3. Booking

A 30 percent deposit reserves your date. We send a contract, a planning portal, and an introduction to your engagement session.

  4. Engagement session

Two hours together, in a place that means something to you. The session is for the photos, but it is also where we learn how the two of you move together.

  5. Wedding day

We arrive earlier than you expect us to, and stay longer than your timeline says we should. Most of what we are doing all day is waiting for the right room and the right light.

  6. Gallery and prints

Sneak peeks within ten days. Full gallery within eight weeks. We sit with you to choose album spreads and heirloom prints, in person or on a video call.

Common questions

Things couples ask before booking.

  • What kind of weddings do you photograph?

We photograph weddings where the couple cares about how the day feels in twenty years. Our work suits couples who want a documentary register with editorial pacing: soft natural light, considered framing, and a quiet presence on the day. We are not the right fit for couples who want highly posed, heavily styled, or flash-driven coverage.

  • Do you travel?

Yes. About a third of our weddings are outside the GTA, and a smaller portion are international. Travel beyond a 90-minute drive is quoted per wedding and includes accommodation for multi-day coverage.

  • How many photographs do we receive?

Roughly 60 to 90 finished frames per hour of coverage. A typical eight-hour wedding gallery sits between 500 and 700 photographs. We are deliberate about what makes the gallery. Every frame earns its place.

  • When do we get the photos?

Sneak peeks within ten days. Full galleries within eight weeks. Albums and printed work are delivered within sixteen weeks after the album proof is approved.

  • What does the engagement session involve?

Two hours, somewhere that means something to you. We do not direct heavily. We set up situations where the two of you can be together, and photograph what happens. Most couples tell us it is the moment our working relationship clicks.

  • Do you offer videography?

We do not, but we work alongside a small group of videographers we trust. We can introduce you to one whose register matches our own.
